Assignment for April 4, 2017

The purpose of this assignment is for you to review what was

covered in the last trimester.

Practice the 3 Scale Exercises with Chords given in this handout:

C major, G major, and F major.

Practice the following short pieces given in this handout: Bulgarian

Melody, Short Israeli Melody, Polish Folk Melody, Folk Melody 4, Folk
Melody 5, Folk Melody 6, and the Minuet.

On April 4, Tuesday, be ready to perform in class in both solo and

group settings.

Difficult parts in the RH
Difficult parts in the LH
Divide piece into small segments
Segment 1: Left Hand only, Right
Hand only, Hands together
Segment 2.... same procedure, etc.
Play HT while singing RH notes
