Im submitting an application for the position of summer maintenance worker that was
distributed in an email sent out by the Red Deer Minor Baseball Association.

Ive worked at a fast food restaurant for two and a half years, until they recently closed due to
lack of business. Many of the skills were new but I had no problem learning and applying them,
as well as always showing up on time for my shifts and being well prepared to do my job. Along
with that I mow the lawn for my parents, as well as for my neighbours on occasion, and enjoy to
do outdoor work such as painting fences and maintaining our garden. Another reason I believe
this job would fit me well is the fact that my brother plays on the Bantam AA 1 Mr. Suds Braves
and I think it would be a great opportunity to help maintain the fields they play on.
