Fight BAC - Avoid Foodborne Illness


Foodborne illness (also known as food poisoning) is any illness that results from eating contaminated
food. It is estimated that 100,000 cases of foodborne illness occur in Ontario each year. Bacteria lives on
the food you eat, so food must be cooked and handled properly to avoid food poisoning.
