My name is Alondra Moreno and I am a senior at High Tech High Chula Vista.

For my senior project I am

organizing events for community members in Chula Vista to build strong and positive relationship with the
Chula Vista Police Department. I am also an explorer at the Chula Vista Police Department.

My topic is about building community relations with our local law enforcement and the school community. I am
an explorer for the Chula Vista Police Department and I strongly believe that building a positive environment in
our community is key in building relationships with officers. Many people are not aware of the community
relations within our local Police Department and my goal is to enhance our community relations to our younger
generations.

I am working with third graders from High Tech Elementary school and they are creating hand made stuffed
animals in their art class. The students will be donating them to different organizations, such as the orphanage,
women's shelter, San Diego Rescue Mission, etc. We'll be making about 70 of them between the three grade
levels, so we will have plenty to donate!

For this reason, I would love for the students to see the bearcat display and for the teddy bears to be picked up.
I will be doing this on Tuesday, May 30th at 1:00pm - 1:30pm. Please let me know if it works out for further
arrangements.
