1. Cardiotoxicity fast sodium channel blockade
(widening QRS complex) tricyclic antidepres-
sants ( amitriptyline, doxepin, imipramine, nortriptyline )
type Ia, Ic antiarrhythmic drugs ( quinidine, f lecainide,
encainide, propafenone, moricizine)
2. Urine alkalinization salicylate, phenobarbital, chlor-
propamide overdose severe rhabdomyolysis
