The Story of The Boy in the Stripped

Pyjamas is a story of a very devastating real life tragedy. The movie is set during the Holocaust, Bruno
is only nine-years-old when his father is transferred from Berlin to Auschwitz. In the story of The
Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas, Ralfs decision leads to the death of his son Bruno and that is the
consequence of his decision. But that wont happen without the bad decisions also of Bruno who choose
to enter the prison knowing that what inside is a wonderful park.

On the part of Bruno, he was burned to death because of his actions. Hes too curious about anything.
His being naive leads him to his own grave. He is not bound with the truths of reality. So because of the
decision he made to go inside the prison, he is also responsible for his own death.

On the part of the father (Ralf), he was being warned by his wife Elsa many times about what he is doing
to the Jews but he never listens. He continued to operate and burn the body of the Jew prisoners in a
chamber they called the shower room. He stuck to his mind that those Jew prisoners are threats to
them. Every day, many bodies are burned in that chamber and one day, Bruno includes in one of those
Jews who were burned and after he knew it, he ran and shouted but theres really nothing he can do to
stop it.
