I am interested in pursuing a career in the Office of the Joint Staff Inspector General as Office Head

Non-Commissioned Officer. I believe to the best of my ability that I am the best candidate for this
selection because of my real-life experiences in leadership, my dedication and time allocation to USDF, as
well as my customer service and initiative within the HQ.

To begin, I have years of retail management experience that provides me with exceptional patience and
problem-solving skills. I do not have any command experience in the HQ yet, however I do quickly and
efficiently fill HQ positions whenever they are needed while I am there. I have received the awards JNCO
of the Week, as well as The Quick Impression at this years Army Awards. I am very close to graduating
the mentorship program.

I would like to polish up FEAT {X} a little bit. Ive noticed a great deal of annoyance some JNCOs have
about {X} taking too long and delaying their promotion. I would like to set it up as a one on one FEAT
style, whereupon the attendee would request it to the DDO and be interviewed in a separate room,
instead of requesting the FEAT on PTS. It would be set up a lot differently of course, but I could draft up a
sample script and submit it for approval/suggestions. I am available to update the AWOL tracker every
day, as well as contribute many hours of OJSIG work throughout the HQ.

My strengths include organization, data entry, customer service, patience, and problem-solving. My
weakness is that sometimes I tend to procrastinate certain tasks, but I have been improving on this by
using the Pomodoro technique, which has helped immensely. A year ago, it would have been a much
bigger problem, but Ive improved on time management very much and am continuing to work through it.

I am very thankful to OJSIG for taking the time to read through my expression of interest, and I hope
you consider me for the position. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you,
