SPEECH OF THE ALMA MATER

You, young dreamers! You who come innocently to the portals of education! You whom
we have cared for under our wings! You who daintily weave the future in your hands! Do you
know who you are? Do you know what you are capable of?

You are the future! You are the hope of the world, a new generation of dream builders
who would change the world to become a better place. You hold the future of this world in your
hands. You are the key that would unlock the treasure chest that will be tomorrow, the key that
would open the door of opportunities. Use your creativity that is innate in you. That is the gift of
the Almighty.

In almost a decade, I have bidden farewell for countless children of the academe not to
simply show them the doors out of this institution but to bring them forth towards the next level
of learning. I have set them free as I am doing so with you dear seniors for you are another
batch of novices who are tasked to realize the dreams of yesterday. Hold on therefore and dont
be swayed by the trials that had come and may come your way.

Dear juniors, what was handed and entrusted to you by the seniors was a symbol of the
responsibility that you are to continue in this institution. This key is the most significant symbol
of this traditional ceremony. The whole studentry is giving their trust upon you so you may
continue the culture of exemplary leadership. May you be fuelled with the faith they have given
you. In your hands, you now hold the next chapter of our history together. Excel and excel
beyond expectation. Transcend the limits and sail beyond the borders of excellence.

To both of you dear juniors and seniors, now is your opportunity. This is the gift that your
parents are lovingly offering you, the gift of choosing the better path towards a brighter future.
Now is your time to show them that you are worth the faith they had given you. We give you our
blessings so you may do your part in shaping our world. Go forth and be enlightened! #
