For each sub-topic in the module (six in all), read two related journal
articles (i.e. a minimum of 12 research based articles beyond 2005).
For each article:
x Pull out the salient points/findings
x Discuss the salient points in relation to the Adult Education
scenario in Malaysia
x Discuss the salient points in relation to the practice of Adult
Education in your own organization/setting
x What are your assessment of each article in relations to yourself
(as an adult learner/practitioner?)

1. Identify an issue that may be resolved through Adult Education Programme. Provide
the background of the identified issue from field scenarios and from the literature.
2. Elaborate on the profile of the adults who are directly affected by the issue. What are
some of the different learning approaches employed by the affected adults in trying
to resolve the issue individually.
3. Based on the above observations, develop a learning module to resolve the identified
issue by employing the adult learning principles.
