Practice Case: Create a wiki

Description:
The task for this unit has do to with wikis, these collaborative tools that allow people to
share information. What you have to do here is to create a wiki related to the subject
you teach and you can include there the previous tasks that you have been preparing for
this subject and other important sources of information that could be relevant for your
students.

Evaluation criteria:
In order to mark this activity we will take into account:
The quality of the information and content provided in the wiki.
The variety of files included.
We will also create a forum where you will be able to share your opinions about your
personal wikis with your classmates. Participation in this forum will have a positive
impact on the final mark of the task.

Objectives:
Learn to use software to create new sources for students to gather information.
Motivating teachers and students to use ICT in class.

Competences:
CG5. Entender la utilidad y necesidad de fomentar el aprendizaje integrado de
lengua extranjera y contenidos propios de la disciplina no lingstica.
CG7. Conocer y reflexionar sobre el impacto de las TIC en la sociedad y cultura del
alumnado.
CT2. Identificar las nuevas tecnologas como herramientas didcticas para el
intercambio comunicacional en el desarrollo de procesos de indagacin y de
aprendizaje grupal.
CE1. Ejercer la docencia de una materia no lingstica de su especialidad a travs de
la lengua inglesa.
