Reaction Paper (Beowulf)

What things are you willing to do for family? For your nations? For others? Or for
your own glory? Everyone got his own reason of living. Life is harsh, it is a continuous
battle from womb to tomb. And things you will sacrifice to attain the glory indeed. Some
will do the evils bidding to conquer glorious things and power. It is hence, the very
system of man, his duty, his virtues, and principles. The world is at balance or would I
say it is always the battle of good versus evil.

To execute bravery against unknown things is the best hope of our present
world. Heroes that will express hope and light the heart of humanity. Beowulf show
these indeed. The very power he possess would be a prayer and envy of any man. But
man as created, weak and easily broken by the promise of wretched world. The shadow
of night creep behind the fear of losing and hunger. We are created in the image and
likeness of God as stated in the Sacred Writings. Thus, goodness is always natural to
the heart of mankind. But in times, this faith has been challenge, temptation measures
its strength and capacity. Beowulf is a hero, yes! But man as he is, fall in the demonic
trap of power and gold. It is a challenge for any man especially on me as a student, to
stand my ground and defend my virtues, my faith, and my life against the promise of this
demonic deeds. Yes! We need food, money, and various clothing but it must be attain
by hard work in your own sweat and sacrifices. We can serve others, our family and
nations, by doing our best for the sake of them. The world will offer us many things,
glorious and tainted, tainted by sins, possess by evil. We must be sensitive with things
we do and things we got. We are sons of God, soldiers of good, so do not bring
destruction upon yourself.

Things we can easily got would be easily lost. It is proven for many centuries
from first great civilization up to millennia. The world is full of lure, temptation that would
try to consume the soul of mankind and bring destruction upon ourselves. It is our very
duty to cast the evil away by not tolerating its promises and deeds. We are weak. Yes!
But is doesnt mean that we are blind and fools. We can separate and see evil from
good. Dont be so nave.
