in 1920. His Suta puranamu, with several detailed prefatory essays
for each of its chapters, was published in 1924, whereas E.V.
ramasamis anti-Ramayana pamphlet Iramayanappattirankal made

its first appearance in 1930, a full decade after Chaudaris Sanbuka

Vadha. Their ideas bear very close resemblance, yet significant
differences as well. No work has yet been done to determine
whether there were any contacts between the two leaders.
