nursing care in children with febrile seizures hyperthermia in pavilion SERUNI RSUd

abstract
Young children are the age group that is often affected by the disease febrile seizures that
usually occurs between the ages of 3 months to 5 years, due to an increase in body temperature
above 38 which can lead to increased metabolism that causes changes in the diffusion of
potassium and sodium so that electrostatic discharge more widespread with the help of
neurotransmitter, causing electrical discharge of brain neurons that trigger seizures. The purpose
of this case study is to implement nursing care of febrile seizures with hyperthermia problem.
The research design is a case study, performed at the pavilion SERUNI RSUd jombang
13-16 August 2015 with subjects taken, namely 2 toddlers were male gender, with the same
nursing problems, namely febrile seizures with hyperthermia. The collection of data used were
interviews, observation and physical examination and study the documentation and presentation
of data in tables and narrative text.
the results of these two studies indicate that the problem is resolved and both patients
experienced a decrease fever after being given a warm compress. And there will be a difference
in the healing process between the two clients during research conducted within 3 days with the
same therapy, both clients equally changes and the same health plan clients return.
For a study is expected to continue to provide HE if the child has a fever give fever-
lowering drugs and compress with warm water, as well as for parents able to maintain
environmental hygiene maintaining good nutrition
