kingdom but the QUEEN.
DRAGOBIRD has dared to abduct the Queen of TRESETVANIA.
He has trapped her in a castle full of devilish obstruction, mortal
perils, hard knocks and bound by impenetrable shield. The king has
to overcome all the hurdles lying in his path to liberate his beloved.
The time is running, will the KING be able to unshackle her?

TASK:
Construct a racing bot (wired/wireless) which can compete against
the opponent bot while traversing through the arena full of sharp
turns, rough paths, undulations and zig-zag paths and wedges,
etc.(to reach the queen and save her from the villain)

TEAM SPECIFICATIONS:
- A team can consist of a maximum of five members.
- Students from different educational institutions can form a
team.
- Participants must have a valid identity card of their respective
educational institution.

BOT SPECIFICATIONS:
- Maximum allowable dimensions of the bot will be 30cm x
30cm x 30cm (l x w x h)
- The bot can be wired or wireless (preference to be given to
wireless bot in case of a tie).
- The weight of the bot should not exceed five kg. It includes
the weight of all external control devices.
-The speed of the motors used must not exceed 500 RPM.
-12 V and 2 amp (max) DC supply will be provided to the teams
during the event.
-Teams can also use three cell lithium polymer or lithium ion
batteries for power supply.
-Use of an IC engine in any form is not allowed.

ARENA SPECIFICATIONS:
The arena is divided into three parts according to the rounds of
game play. The width of the whole track is 40cm for each bot.
Round 1:

The track will have the following obstacles as given in the following
order from the starting point:
-Downward slope declined at ~56.31
-A plank and a bottle needed to be pushed to complete the
path. The bottle will then roll down to fill the pit so that the bot can
move over the bottles.
-Inclined semi-circular path.
-A path full of gravels.
-Marshy semi-circular path.
-Rough terrain consisting of path blockers, gravels, etc.
-A horizontal plank hinged about its central axis (bot need to
move in a straight line along the axis to cross the path safely
without toppling).
-A tunnel in the shape of a right angular arc.
-Slope having inclination angle ~18.44 degrees.
-Bridge having two strips of width 6cm and space between
them 18cm which leads to the finish line.

ROUND 2:

In round 2, there will be a race among two bots. So both the

bots have to start simultaneously on their respective paths.
-Firstly, the bot will traverse through all the hurdles of Round 1.
Now, Round 2 will have following hurdles given in the order:
-Movable trolley consisting of a vertical hook at the height of
10 cm. that needs to be dragged to a specified location using some
hooking mechanism.
-Two wired mesh, in the shape of half cylinder, one for each
bot to move.
-A surprise hurdle.
-A rotatable gate.
-A zig-zag path.
-A hanging bridge.
-Now the path is divided into two
separate tracks. The bot reaching first
can choose either Path-A or Path-B while
the other bot will choose the other path
left. Both paths will lead to the finish line. FIG.TROLLEY
FIG. ARENA ROUND-2

Path-A
-A plank supported by a wooden stick. The bot has to go
through the side path to push the support so that plank falls down
and completes the path.
-A barrier gate that need to be opened by push.
-A ball that has to be grabbed or rolled to put it into the hole.
Path-B
-Path blocker. Bot need to go to the side path and drop the box
down which would automatically lift the barrier (similar to a railway
gate).
-A barrier gate that need to be opened by push.
-A ball that has to be grabbed or rolled to put it into the hole.

ROUND 3:
-Round 3 will consist of tracks of first two rounds leading two
following hurdles:
-Tilted path. Bot has to travel at some angle, i.e., one side of
the bot will be at certain height while other side of the bot will be at
ground level.
-Wedge-shaped speed breakers.
-There will be a maze full of blocks and turns. Each bot must
cross this maze while carrying a plastic ball (kept at the beginning
of the maze) with it. The ball has to be dropped into the respective
goals at the end of the maze to complete the round.

mishap/toppling. Bots will be placed again at the point of
discontinuity.
