Accelerated Reader
At the end of next week, your child will be taking the STAR test. This test will show your
childs current reading level (ZPD) indicating the level of book that your child should read for
Accelerated Reader (AR). The following week (week of Sept. 4), your child will begin taking
AR tests. The results of your childs STAR test and your childs AR goal will be sent home
after we take the STAR test.

September 14. Your child
should wear his or her school
uniform for this picture.

Grandparents!
Please give our thanks to all the
grandparents in your childs life
who attended Grandparents Day
today. What a wonderful and
special day we had spending
time with our grandparents and
showing them our school!
We will have a memory verse test
on Friday of next week over
Ephesians 6:1 . This new
memory verse is being sent home
today in your childs folder.
