DIGITAL SOLAR RADIATION RECORDER

It is a microcontroller based pyranometer for measurement of global

radiation. All sensors can be attached with the data logger for the
collection of real time data automatically . The microcontroller
converts the analog signals from the sensors to digital format. The
microcontroller has individual operating software programmed in
internal EEPROM and data acquired is stored in internal data RAM.
Microcontroller remains in the sleep mode and wakes up only when
either a signal from the sensor is available or when it receives control
signal from the master controller for acquiring the stored data. The
microcontroller has its internal memory along with an additional 512 K
EEPROM, a real time clock with an LCD (16 x 2) to display the
instrument status.

Advantages :
