Lights:
In the last scene, the light should gradually focus on Lennie and George until we are as
isolated as possible on Lennie for the finish of the scene. We will then blackout at the end of
Lennies last line, and the gunshot will immediately follow.
Sound:
Horseshoe sound effects on both page 41 and 50 should come from SL.
We need transition music between scene 6 and 7 (based on Pauls breakdown) on page 18.
Carlson and Whit have the two ad-libbed lines on page 19.
Paul would like to try having actors play and sing Do Re Mi instead of the recording for the
overture. Kerry will play the guitar and Jim will either play the guitar or the harmonica. We
will experiment with this next week and let you know our final decision.
Costumes:
We need Curley, Lennie, and the Wifes shoes by Saturday to start working with them in the
fights. Can we also get Curleys glove by this time to work with during the fight rehearsal?
Can Curleys fitting be on Tuesday during rehearsal hours. He has to commute, so Paul
doesnt want him to travel that far on an off day.
Nate W. is not available for a fitting during those hours. Can he do his fitting on Monday?
Props:
The knife sharpener that is currently in the rehearsal hall is too loud. It also smells odd, and
when you scrape the stone, little flakes come off. Now Rebecca is itchy. Thanks, Patti.
Slim would like a towel and handkerchief.
Slim needs a pistol and holster.
We need another knife in a sheath similar to Georges.
The window table in the bunkhouse is the perfect size if it can be painted to look like wood.
Crooks table is great!
We are going to use the green cushioned chair instead of the wooden seat one for Crooks
room
The push broom is cut.
