Description of the artifact and how it meets the standard and criteria:

This artifact is a copy of the notes that have been taken throughout the 2016-2017
school year during the Report Card Committee meetings. This is a committee that I
served on, and will continue to serve on, that is working to create standards based
report cards for our elementary schools. This artifact meets this standard because it
shows how I have taken responsibility for being part of supporting students by working
to create a report card that truly shows their understanding of our state standards, and
also building and district goals because these report cards will be implemented in both
of our elementary buildings in order to better understand where are students are at in
their learning, and where we need to implement more strategies.

Reflection on the artifact:

I have really enjoyed being a part of this committee and feel like I have learned so much
from begin a part of it. It is really insightful to listen to other educators talk about what is
best for our students and how we can get there as a district. I have also learned a lot
about our standards and how to unpack them with my team and decide what we expect
our students to be able to do. I look forward to what this committee will become and
how I can continue to be an active member of this committee.
