WHAT LIES BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

SCENE 1
FADE IN:
INT. FRONT ROOM EVENING TIME

(ERICIA (22), is in the living room seated on the sofa having a

heated argument over the phone to JAX the father of her baby.)
ERICIA
(Aggressive tone)
What dont you understand? I dont want you anywhere near my baby!I
won full custody and I dont want to see you ever again.
JAX
ERICIA, please just give me another chance
ERICIA
Ive given you enough chances
JAX
ERICIA, I still love you

SFX: *static*
*POWER CUTS*

The entire house loses electricity and is in darkness. ERICIA is

still sitting down
ERICIA
What. The. Hell.

ERICIA gets up to go and check the electricity fuse, using the flash
on her phone.
CUT TO:
INT. CORRIDOR
ERICIA gets to the electricity box and turns the power back on, the
lights flicker before finally fully turning on, when doing so she
hears glass smash on the floor in the kitchen,
 2.
SFX: *Smash*
ERICIA rushes over to see what has happened

CUT TO:
INT. KITCHEN
ERICIA rushes to the kitchen and sees that theres no glass on the
floor. She stands in absolute confusion.
CUT TO:
Whilst in the kitchen ERICIA hears the baby cry through the baby
monitor but then begins to hear distorted inhumanly sounds over
power the babys cry.
SFX: *screech bass sound*
CUT TO:
ERICIA picks up a hockey stick for protection before heading
upstairs
CUT TO:
INT. CORRIDOR
ERICIA begins to hear more distorted sounds coming from upstairs
CUT TO:
INT. STAIRS
ERICIA goes upstairs to figure out why the baby is crying.
When walking up the stairs she hears more unusual sounds coming from
the babys room.
SFX: *low bass growl*
ERICIA walks slowly up the stairs and the distorted sounds grow
louder.

ERICIA
Is anyone there?

ERICIA begins to hear loud HOWLING sounds in the kitchen, ERICA

squeezes her closes her eyes in disbelief as to whats happening
around her
 3.

CUT TO:
A toy rolls out of the kitchen and ERICIA stares at it as she
doesnt under what has pushed it out of its original place.

ERICIA
(Whispering to herself)
Theres no one there. Theres no one there

ERICIA gets closer to the door and sees that there are two footsteps
outside of the babys room. She looks even closer and sees that
theres shadow of the figure legs on the babys side of the door.

ERICIA stands paralysed in complete fear as she doesnt want to

believe whats going on. She begins to hear loud THUMPING sounds
downstairs however, she ignores it as shes still in disbelief.

ERICA works up enough courage and STAMMERS

ERICIA
Whos there?

She proceeds closer to the door

ERICIA waits behind the door for a couple of seconds, she begins to
see the figures legs underneath the gap of the door move. ERICA
takes a deep breath and pushes the door open.
CUT TO:
INT. BABYS ROOM
Before saying anything a blinding beam of light shines in her eyes.
ERICIA
(SCREAMING)
AHHHHHHHH!
The figure knocks ERICIA out with a hard object, ERICIA fall to the
floor and watches the figure take her baby in a blurry and distorted
way
 4.
CUT TO:
INT. KITCHEN
The father of ERICIA baby calls her phone
SFX: *vibration*

FADE TO BLACK
