Production Aims

For this unit I am aiming to create a detailed artefact, which

corresponds with the two films I have chosen to analyse. The films I
have chosen to use are Inception (2010, American film) and the
first instalment of the franchise Kingsman: secret service (2014, UK
Film). I plan to incorporate Ronan Bathes enigma codes into my
creative artefacts as this links to what I am aiming for. The director
for the movie Inception Christopher Nolan will give me a basic
outline on how I may be able to achieve this. I have chosen
representation for my Macro element, in doing so I will therefore
have to incorporate Strauss binary opposites, which in my case will
be male v female. I will also need to combine some microelements
in order to show how angles, sound, lighting and mise-en-scene help
to add to the nine key frames to make it a more effective piece.
Due to my essay question being based on representation, I have
decided to represent the ways in which my protagonists are
presented which in my case is the damsel in distress and the villain
linking to Propps theory.

The aim for my planning is to prepare myself for the production of

my creative artefact and ensuring that I have linked my nine key
frames to the two films that I have chosen to analyse in my textual
analysis. The main tasks that I have to complete for my planning is
to create a script, a location report, a screen tests, a story board and
a shot list.
