Cinemaskwela Film Fest

1. All entries should be originally made by Senior High School students of UE Manila. The
directors, asst. directors, scriptwriters, director of photography, production manager and
main characters of the story should be UE Senior High School students.

2. Upon registration of these entries, the production teams are agreeing to the terms and
conditions of Cinemaskwela.

3. Videos should not exceed the duration of 10 minutes but not less than three minutes.

4. The videos are divided into two categories a.) Short film about social issues of students in
U-Belt b.) Feature/TV show about life, travel, culture and food

5. All production team are encouraged to print their own posters (long bond paper size) for
promotion. Social media can be used for promotion of these videos.

6. The following awards will be given to those who will garner the highest score in the given
category:

Category A

Best Picture, Peoples Choice Award, Best in Cinematography, Best Scriptwriter, Best
Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Editor

Category B

Best Show, Peoples Choice Award, Best Scriptwriter, Best Host, Best Director, Best Editor

7. Videos will be reviewed first by Cinemaskwela ocers and adviser before it will be given
permission to be shown during the film festival

8. Upon registration, videos are not allowed to be shown publicly nor distributed until the film
festival is finished. All entries are deemed property of Cinemaskwela until September 22, 2017.

9. Production team of these videos should be present on September 22, 2017 at 10am for the
awarding and closing of the event.

1. Each entry will receive 40% of the total amount of the revenue of their film (entrance fee).
The remaining 60% will go to the organizers of the event

2. Upon registration, the videos are deemed property of the film festival thus, showing these
videos publicly or distribution of the said videos are not allowed until the end of the event.
This also means that even the production team of the submitted entries need to pay the
entrance fee.

3. An entrance fee of P5 per person for each film will be collected.

4. Judges decisions shall be respected by those who joined the film festival

5. Only Senior High School Students are allowed to submit entries for the contest. However,
viewers who are outside UE Senior High School will be allowed.
