with generalized V -r-invexity

Abstract. In this paper, a new concept of invexity for locally Lipschitz vector-valued func-
tions is introduced, called V -r-type I functions. The generalized KarushKuhnTucker
sufficient optimality conditions are proved and duality theorems are established for a non-
smooth multiobjective optimization problems involving V -r-type I functions with respect
to the same function .

1 Introduction
In inequality constrained optimization the classical KarushKuhnTucker neces-
sary conditions are also sufficient for optimality if the functions delimiting the
problem are convex or satisfy certain generalized convexity properties such as
pseudo-convexity or quasi-convexity, see, for example Mangasarian [9]. However,
convexity assumptions are often not satisfy in real world models; see Arrow and
Intriligator [2] and Islam and Craven [6].
The class of invex functions was introduced by Hanson [4] as a broad gen-
eralization of convexity for differentiable real-valued functions. Jeyakumar and
Mond [7] generalized Hansons definition to the vector case. They defined V -
invexity for differentiable vector-valued functions which preserve the sufficient
optimality conditions and duality results as the scalar case and avoid the major
difficulty of verifying that the inequality holds for the same function for invex
functions in multiobjective optimization problems.
Mishra and Mukherjee [10] extended the concept of V -pseudo-invexity and V -
quasi-invexity for locally Lipschitz vector-valued functions and established suf-
ficient optimality conditions and duality results for a multiobjective nonsmooth
optimization problem. Recently, Antczak [1] introduced r-type I functions for
differentiable functions following Hanson and Mond [5].
