Portfolio Artifact Description: Can O Your Town Using drawing tools to draw a 2

dimensional to market a label of my home town.

What you learned: In this project I learned a few or more things about the drawing tools I have

on my computer with adding three different color shades of color and cropping pictures to fit into

my label. I also learned about newer attractions that are in Las Vegas like the sport teams that are

on the rise now and in the near future. As well with newer attractions for people of younger ages

and adults that have recently opened up. This project helped me be more aware of the city I grew

up in than I already was and overall I really liked this one being able to show some of the places

I have been to myself.

National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS)S Addressed: Standard

#4b Students select and use digital tools to plan and manage a design process that considers

design constraints and calculated risk.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: In overall this project would fit into any subject

but as students grow this project would have to become more complex just so that it fits well

with how they think and that it should not be too easy for them to do. As well with adding new

requirements to what one is looking for when they do this project. In the future this project

should be one where one is to draw out their home town but on a flag that represents where they

come from, who they are, and what makes it different from anywhere else. Overall a project like

this would allow them to be creative and think thoroughly about their past and what they have

seen for themselves.
