Artifact Description: Web Launchpad- create page with links for easy access with word
processor
What you learned: I think this assignment is a great idea. I never thought to use links in a
creative way for education purposes. It is very creative, convenient and easy. The hardest part
was to figure out what subject to focus on. I decided on math, I created a pathway that goes from
the most basics to the more difficult ones. It takes a lot of creativity to portray something like
math and make it look fun. I had a Candy Land vision but didn’t work out the way I hoped so I
had to improvise.

National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS)•S Addressed: Standard 3:

Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge,
produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: I would use this project to provide my students
with helpful links on every new subject. They can learn about space or body parts by providing
links next to what they need to learn about. This is a great way for them to explore around the
internet on safe websites. The Launchpad was a simple project with great potential.
