Synthesis and Integration

The voice of truth helps the clients identify the negative and irrational thoughts by helping them
recognize them from different situations. As for kevin and queenie, letting them realize and look
outside the box about why this person doesnt give them the attention they needed, lets them
understand and adjust themselves further. This also lets them have an idea what to do and what to
feel in future situations. Although identifying the real reasons begins with their assumptions,
positive assumptions towards certain acts produces less feelings of being distressed. It is a very
important tool for cognitive behavioral therapy in changing the way people think or behavior that
are behind peoples difficulties, and so change the way they feel and can be used in a wide array
regarding peoples life, from relationship problems, to anxiety and depression. CBT works by
changing peoples attitudes and their behavior by focusing on the thoughts, images, beliefs and
attitudes that helds the persons cognitive processes and how the person behaves, as a way in
dealing in emotional problems.
IV. Psychotherapy

Voice of truth as a technique had been taken from behavior therapy and are used by different
psychological theories and psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Researchers
have shown that this technique is effective when used in a specific problems.

CBT is a type of psychotherapy that helps people identify thoughts, feelings, and experiences that
influence their behaviors. It's usually a short-term treatment approach, making it more affordable
than other therapies, such as psychoanalytic therapy. For individuals with histrionic personality
disorder, identifying thought patterns and their origins could help them make the connection
between these thoughts and their behaviors. This, in turn, allows them to see how they can work
to change their thoughts to successfully change their behavior.

In order to combat these destructive thoughts and behaviors, a cognitive-behavioral therapist

begins by helping the client to identify the problematic beliefs. This stage, known as functional
analysis, is important for learning how thoughts, feelings, and situations can contribute to
maladaptive behaviors. The process can be difficult, especially for patients who struggle with
introspection, but it can ultimately lead to self-discovery and insights that are an essential part of
the treatment process.

The second part of cognitive behavior therapy focuses on the actual behaviors that are contributing
to the problem. The client begins to learn and practice new skills that can then be put in to use in
real-world situations.

In most cases, CBT is a gradual process that helps a person take incremental steps towards a
behavior change.

V. Observation:

At the start of the activity, the participants are evidently very active and participative. They have
listened well to the instructions that are given and is able to catch up very fast but some
clarifications are still given to fully have a grasp. During the writing part of the activity, you can
see their sincerity to their feelings, they talk about their thoughts while writing and shows how
they really feel toward the scenarios given.
The identifying the rational reasons why their partner behaves in that way, caused a lot of their
time by thinking the probable whys the person behaves that way towards them. Although it took
time, I can see that when they look at the brighter side, there is a light showing up on their faces.
Theyve managed to think positively towards the behavior as the session ended.

VI. Results and Discussion

Most of their outputs in the voice of truth showed that they have negative thoughts to simple
events. These negative thoughts then may hinder their functioning and judgment on a daily basis.

Kevin would feel bad that a certain person wont chat him resulting to thoughts that this person
doesnt like him anymore. This thoughts however were put into the brighter side as he responded
that the truth behind this person not chatting him is being busy in school, therefore facebooking is
scarce. He also stated that when this person doesnt hug him, it already implies and he thinks that
this person doesnt love him anymore. In giving that into light, kevin responded that this person
maybe didnt hug him because this person is too tired and wants to rest.

Queenies thoughts when she is not given the attention makes her think that this individual doesnt
like her but as she give it into light, this person have some other things to do. Not being qualified
as a negative thought but she identifies that there are other people better than her thus lets her
understand the situation.

The activity has given them great help in regaining them see the situations in a positive outlook
rather than on negative view. This aid in helping them become aware that their thoughts might just
be an obstacle to them to continue living with their live

VII. Findings

This activity focuses on the participants thoughts and feelings pertaining to being left-out or
ignored to someone they love or is important to them. This activity is a great aid in helping these
people to cope with their situations. This would help them become aware that they are being
understood and they are not alone in their situations.

Participants Results
Amarille, Kevin He exhibits negative feelings and thoughts
towards situations that he encounters from day
to day. The feelings of being not attended to
exhibits negative thoughts but the success of
giving these thoughts into light might give him
the ability to cope in day to day interaction
with people.

Buenaventura, Queenie She exhibits negative feelings and thoughts

towards situations that he encounters from day
to day as being ignored already implies that the
person doent like her anymore. The feelings
of being not attended to exhibits negative

Prognosis:

First of all, it is expected that after this experience, the clients should be able to regulate/replace
their thoughts that potentially cause problems toward their relationship and their partners. Through
this application, they will be able to be more mindful and rational towards their thoughts and
actions and improve their relationships. Second, Prognosis is good as long as the individual sticks
to the treatment plan and follows the therapist's instructions. Left untreated, the disorder can begin
to cause problems in the individual's personal life, resulting in high levels of stress and anxiety.
People with HPD lead normal lives and are able to work and be a part of society. Many of them
only encounter problems in more intimate relationships. HPD may affect your ability to hold a job,
maintain a relationship, or stay focused on life goals.

For Kevin, his distorted thoughts have become a hindrance for her day to day functioning but
because of this activity it helped him realize that these are all baseless ideas which only serves as
a distraction. If he continues this kind of thinking, then in conducting other activities and also
through the help of other people.

For Queenie, same as Kevin, her irrational thoughts have been an obstacle on her every time she
is not given attention in situations. Because of this activity, she realized that all of her thoughts are
just unsubstantiated cognitions that serves as an obstacle to her. If she discontinues to think of
these thoughts then surely shell recover fully and effectively.
