challenges immigrants faced as they settle in the United States.
Summative Assessment

Essay: Analyzing Primary Sources Student will read the passage analyze and write why
the growth of tenement houses have contributed to an increase in gang students will be
allotted full classroom time to complete task.

Unit Test: A teacher-made objectively scored test will be administered at the end of the
unit. This is primarily a summative assessment.
