STANDINGS
CADET GPA:

PLANS FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND

IMPROVEMENT
Currently I maintain an above 4.0 GPA and am content, but not settled. I
will always strive for the best in a class, since my availability is my best
ability. Coming to class and showing up to tutoring if it is necessary is
ideal to maintain an A in a course. Asking for help when necessary, and
completing in class and out of class assignments is my key to success.
Student first, cadet second. Being a cadet enrolled in the Mallard Creek
JROTC program motivates me to be a better student and help those
around me to do the same.

PLANS FOR THE RANK

OBTAINED
CURRENT RANK: DESIRED RANK:
Cadet Master Sergeant Cadet First Sergeant

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS FOR FUTURE RANK:

PROBLEM:
Cadets do not know how the promotion process works.
SOLUTION:
Conduct a class explaining the promotion board process and requirements. Next
year should it be taught by the company 1SG in the beginning of the semester, the
cadets will recognize how the promotion process works and effectively meet the
requirements.

PROBLEM:
There is a lack of coordination between the company schedules and resulting from
this is a lack of CIP input improvement.
SOLUTION:
A set P.T schedule will be made. The first Friday of every month will be led by
1SG Edwards, the second will be lower body strength, the third will be upper body
strength, and the fourth fun P.T of the company 1SG choice. S set post-inspection
schedule will also be made. Counseling and tutoring will switch off every other
week. Wednesdays will focus on a different aspect of drill TTP every week.

COMPANY GOALS:
To exceed the standard of previous 1sgs and do my share to
improve my company.

To create a safe, family within our classroom and company.

To effectively communicate information through the chain of

command.

To constantly keep each other motivated and fired up

throughout the school year.
CADET WEAKNESSES
AND STRONG SUITS
STRONG SUITS:
ORGANIZATION:
I make sure my LET two class is organized, up to date, and ran to the best ability by having
everything in place.

WORK ETHIC:
I am able to effectively get my work done in a timely manner that meets the standard.

BALANCE BETWEEN CADET AND STUDENT:

I manage to maintain the academic standard as well as put my best efforts forward to improve
the program.

INNOVATIVE:
I access the knowledge I have learned from my two years of JROTC and utilize it to my best
ability.
SETTING THE EXAMPLE:
I am a student who cares about her GPA, her standings in the program, and how others are
treated. I always try my best, by exceeding the standard and challenging myself, and finding
that others will follow.

WEAKNESSES:
DELEGATION:
Getting things done is necessary, and sometimes I want them done right away and don't want
to take the time to delegate the task.. After realizing that delegating helps other individuals
gain leadership knowledge, I have grown to accept the skill and continue to improve myself.

OUT FRONT:
I have never liked to be put on the spot or the center of attention, but as a 1SG that's where you
will constantly be. I am accepting this weakness and continuing to improve it by training as a
company 1SG this year.
