A LEGACY OF HEROES: THE STORY OF BATAAN AND CORREGIDOR

EXTERNAL CRITICISM
I've observed that almost all of the published information are primary sources, with
the majority of valiant Filipinos soldiers relating stories of Philippine' heroism while
fighting its nation against one tough and well- prepared Japanese force, as well as
buildings as well as other tangible proof. The film directed A Legacy of Heroes: The Story
of Bataan and Corregidor was co-produced by the Philippine Department of National
Defense and the Philippines Veterans Affairs Department. Organizations generally
assumed to be sincere since they are Official public offices.

The artifacts as well as other tangible resources which are constructed and
documented about the history like the Sulu Sea pirates or raiders are real. As it was an
actual picture containing information in it but it was incorporated in annals of history,
curriculum, I should assert it was a legitimate creation and it’s not a fabrication.

The film Pirates of the Sulu Sea depicts why Philippines kept fighting in many methods,
demonstrating determination and then a broad awareness of own upsides and downsides.
The sequence is deceiving at first, but everything comes together in the conclusion.
Because of the writer's dialect, the story was somewhat confusing, but it was detailed yet
informative. Everything was intended for people who really are proficient in the language.
The proof is substantial, and it can be found in several memoirs as well as documents on
which the film produced founded.

INTERNAL CRITICISMS
I do find the documentary quite long, but considering the message and the context it
speaks about is reasonable enough to really spend time in watching it, most specifically
learning about the events that have happened after Bataan and Corregidor fell apart. This
documentary is one of the best sources to educate ourselves and equip our minds with
relevant information about our history. I can say that this documentary is exceptionally
well- made and just so amazing.

Upon watching the said documentary, I have realized how people utilize numerous
actual historians and researchers to exhibit sites, components, and a mixture of reputable
sources to render their film and support with facts and antiques, making it increasingly
authentic.

Some facts were drawn from the accounts of the Philippine soldiers who served in
Bataan, recounting their greatest nightmares and courageous acts as they defended
Bataan. Almost each of them described the physical tortures and sufferings they
experienced in the hands of the Japanese Empire. They are the people who experienced
the event firsthand and it proves that it was all genuine and supported by facts.

The documentary was released to educate Philippines as to how, despite being forced to
a painful yet horrific adventure which culminated in tragedy, people are fighting for the
nation that exhibited gallantry. Moreover, Patriotism was being implicit in the film -
creators emphasized loyalty inside the movie, which prompted me to feel that they were
discreetly making people aware that this crucial moment in Historical events should not
be overlooked.
