Padlet Project

For this project each of you will be put into groups of four and
given 2 iPads per group. You will be using your iPads along
with measuring tape. As a group you will select a real life
object and calculate the volume of it. Be creative with what you
choose but make sure to stick to the 3D shapes we have
learned about. Once you have calculated the volume of your
shape you will work as a group to create a Paddlet about your
group and your project.

What You Will Need:

1. Measuring Tape
2. Download the MyScript Calculator app
3. Download the Padlet app

What to do:
1. As a group pick a real world object and find the
volume of it.
ex:

2. Use MyScript Calculator app to calculate the

volume and take screenshots of your calculations.
3. Take a group picture and individual pictures with
the iPad camera.
4. After you download the Padlet app, open it, and
create an account.

5. Create your own Padlet board. Below, you will find

pictures of the steps to follow to create your Padlet
board.

How to Create your Padlet Board:

1. Press the New button.

2. Fill out the information asked and pick your

background.

3. Make your board public and each one of your

emails.

4. To start adding posts press button shown here.

5. Create a post to answer each of the following

questions pictured.

6. Share your tablet by printing out the QR code.
