HYDRAULIC PIPE BENDING MACHINE

CONSTRUCTION

The Hydraulic pipe bending machine consists of the following parts :

1. Base Plate
Base Plate is the base member of the machine . The entire assembly of the machine is done on to the base plate. Base plate is structural steel (EN9). The pillars are
mounted on to the base plate using Socket head bolts M8.

2. Pillar
Pillar is an structural steel (EN9 vertical member of the structure of the press which is held on to the base plate using Socket head bolts M8. The pillar is provided with
diameter 10mm holes equi-spaced (3 Nos ) to receive the Dowell pins which act as pivot for the die roller on left hand side

3. Top Fix Plate

Top plate is structural steel (EN9 horizontal member of the structure of the press which is held on to the top of the LH & RH_ Pillars and held in place by using Spring washer,
M20 Hex nut, and Lock nut.

4. Return Spring
Return springs are attached to the ram of the jack which provide the automatic return after bending operation is over.

5. Hydraulic Jack
Hydraulic jack is 3000 kg capacity with the following parts:
a. Release valve
b. Base
c. Adjusting screw
d. Ram
e. Cylinder
f. Oil Tight tank
g. Top Cap
h. Pump Body
i. Pump Plunger
j. Safe valve
k. Handle.
