Lesson idea implementation:

Students will be able to develop a Inspiration that is about Jackie Robinson. Teacher will first introduce Jackie
Robinson with pictures and a short discussion about his life and what he did. Teacher will then explain to the
class that they will be developing an Inspiration on Jackie Robinson. In the inspiration they need to include
what he did in his life to make him so well known today. Students will use books, internet, and facts that they
learned in class to complete this assignment. Students will complete these on laptops or desktop computers.

Lesson should take around 45 minutes to complete. I will differentiate this lesson, by having struggling
readers and ELL students in a small group with teacher. To extend students learning they can write a
bibliography about Jackie Robinson using the Inspiration that they created.
