Introduction:
As my previous teaching experience, there are some struggles of improving some areas. Some of them
work and some of them are in the progress. As a pre-graduate student, I need to improve the main
areas that guide me to be successful teaching.
I had issues with implementing the transition which lead the classroom to be chaos. Then, I discovered
counting but it wasnt affective because I was counting and shouting so the students imitate the
behavior. Therefore, I used the bell to be noticeable to the students which was successful strategy.
Nowadays, my goal is to improve the transition, by using more techniques that leads me to be creative
and effective. I think it will take me 2 weeks with improve it or modify it.
Action:
I will start the class by ringing the bell with using it when the activity ends.
The bell will be also with word signs like "Attention" in the beginning to ensure that the students are
paying attention. "Go" sign is to start the activity and "stop" when it finishes. This strategy will make
them useful to the transition to make it part of their routine. After finishing the activities, they will
raise the prop of "Finishing" sign to get their maximum attention (Finley, 2017).
I will use website with asking my colleague to get great ideas for the effective transition. To make the
props, I need the materials from resource room or the bookshop.
Data collection tools to be used to provide evidence of the success of the action:
With using the phone, I will video the class in the first lesson and last lesson (After two weeks) to
give me a clear picture of classroom status.
After the class, my MST will give me feedback for transition and how far it been successful.
Then, I will reflect on the application of the transition to see how it was done and what the impact on
the students.

In my previous TP, I noticed that when students are doing group work, one member does all the
work which lead others don't benefit from the activity. So, I need to solve the problem by look to
other strategies which I think it will take me 1 month as some habits tend to take a long time to
change.
Action:
I need to apply what interests the students like games or craft because these types motivate the
students more than listening to solid information (Victoria, 2017).
I will design for each group a reward system to reward them as they collaborate to motivate them to
collaborate as I saw it in the previous TP.
When the students perform the activities, each student will be responsible for his/her part so they
can all work. As they are working, one members role is to motivate the member because a positive
person can influence the surrounding so everyone can be motivated.
When students finish, I will stick their work to develop their intrinsic motivation and collaboration.
Website, Pinterest, my MST and my colleague can work as guidance to implement fun group
activities. In order to design the activities and the reward system, I need resource room and a
bookshop to provide me with the materials.
In each class, I will take photos of students interaction and collaboration to ensure that they are
working. After the class finish, my MST will comment weekly on the strategies development. By the
end, I will write it in the reflection.

As a talkative teacher who turns the class to the teacher-centered lesson. Students get
bored in the class which leads them to misbehave. Also, it hinders students understanding
because young students need to interact with objects to understand the information. In the
previous years, my both MCTs noticed this problem which made me ambitious to fix it.
Action:
In each class, I will time myself with putting target minutes without go over it. The starting will
include leading question to make the students discuss and think deeply (Lubin, n.d).
Instead of talking, I will use Constructivism strategy to help the students to build their own
knowledge with experience (L, 2015). So, I put some materials that guide the students to understand
the information.
Resource room and bookshop can provide me with materials for using constructivism. Also, I need a
website to inspire me to create creative ideas to reduce my talking.
I will use a notebook to write the duration that I will spend in talking in the first lesson and the fifth
lesson. With my colleague help, she will help me to record my talking time and students interaction
to find the ratio between students working time and my talking time.
