    Background
    Spain has a King but it also has a head of state. This head of state in most European countries
    is Prime Minister. Spain has a Parliament that is elected, like a democracy.

    Prime Minister

    The man below is named Mariano Rajoy and he is the Prime Minister of Spain. As Prime
    Minister he is the chief executive and makes the final decisions. He is the leader of the largest
    contingent in congress. That means he isnt directly elected he is elected based on party.

    Court Systems

    This consists of judges and justices who are not allowed to have an affiliation to a certain party.
    Their main court is General Council of the Judiciary.
