PROGRAMME REPORT
5. OBJECTIVE :
I. To ensure the pupils and teachers use English as their spoken language in
daily conversation throughout the month.
II. To let pupils participate and experience such competition in a higher level.
III. To give pupils the opportunity to use English in an interesting, authentic and
creative manner.
IV. To enhance and improve listening and speaking skills.
V. To instil pupils interest in reading and writing and even speaking in English.
6. TARGET :
I. To enhance pupils confidence in using English.
II. To communicate with peers and adults confidently and appropriately in formal
and informal situations;
III. To read and comprehend a range of English texts for information and
enjoyment;
IV. To write a range of texts using appropriate language, style and form through a
variety of media;
V. To appreciate and demonstrate understanding of English language literary or
creative works for enjoyment; and
VI. To use correct and appropriate rules of grammar in speech and writing.
7. ACTIVITIES :
This program is held throughout March started from 01st March until 31st March 2015.

8. EVALUATION :
All the pupils were be able to participate in most of the events
which was held throughout the English Month.
8.1 STRENGTH :
I. The programs that held covered all the skills that need to be mastered by
pupils.
II. The uses of various materials especially the latest gadgets were be able to
attract most pupils in learning English.
III. Pupils were be able to work as a team collaboratively and cooperatively.
IV. The individual activities were be able to stimulate pupils thinking skills
creatively and critically.
V. The fun base learning activities always became a priority.
8.2 WEAKNESSES :
I. The time management need to be planned properly.
II. Teachers should encourage pupils to participate more.

3. DAY : WEDNESDAY
5. OBJECTIVE :
I. To get pupils prepare for the upcoming LINUS screening on reading.
II. To ensure pupils master the reading skill and able to pass the LINUS screening.
III. To attract pupils interest in reading through fun based reading technique.
IV. To achieve 100% pass in LINUS literacy screening.
6. TARGET :
I. To help pupils enhance their literacy in English, thus capable to read various
types of reading materials.
7. ACTIVITIES :
I. Phonics Fairy
II. Read It Aloud
8. EVALUATION :
All the pupils were be able to follow the modules and activities
designed by teachers and able to read a simple text
independently.
8.1 STRENGTH :
I. The fun based reading activities used were tremendously drew pupils
attention to stay focus and participate in each activity that has been carried
out.
II. The group activity was clearly a brilliant idea to such level of pupils since they
were be able to collaborate among them and the teacher can also determine
the suitable technique to approach them.
8.2 WEAKNESSES :
I. The lack of reading materials that can stimulate pupils interest to sound
certain phonemes.
II. The time that allocated for this camp is too short and this lead to limited useful
programmes that can be carried out.
III. The participation of Orang Asli need to be increased in the future.

II. Section 2 ( Impromptu ):
Contestants are asked to pick an envelope containing a
card.
After 30 seconds, contestants need to tell their story based
on a word (noun/adjective) or picture (one object) on the
chosen card.
8. Evaluation :
All the contestants were be able to tell their Prepared
and Impromptu Stories to the audiences.
8.1 Strengths :
I. All the contestants were be able to build up their self-esteem in
using English while confront the audiences.
II. All the contestants were be able to share their own thoughts
during the Impromptu session.
III. All the contestants understand that English can be used in
various context.
8.2 Weakness :
I. The host of the competition should be more sensitive about the
event starting time.
II. The judges should briefs the contestants on rules and
regulations before they start the competition.

3. DAY : THURSDAY
5. OBJECTIVE :
I. To enhance teachers teaching and learning skills inside and out.
II. To build a strong relationship with schools around.
III. To share norms and values that can be implemented during the teaching and
learning process.
IV. To expose teachers with 21st century pedagogical in English classroom.
6. TARGET :
I. To help both teachers of SK Taman Sutera and SK Taman Tampoi Utama
improving their teaching skills towards 21st Century Pedagogical.
7. ACTIVITIES :

II. Teacher Sharing Session
8. EVALUATION :
All the teachers were be able to
I. Enhance their pedagogical knowledge as well as teaching skills with the
elements of 21st Century classroom.
II. Improve their filing system management especially the English Panel files.
III. Share the best practice among them.
8.1 STRENGTH :
I. The cooperation from both schools makes this programme smooth and
successful.
II. The sharing session was a great platform for both school as we can compare
and contrast the best practice which is vital nowadays.
8.2 WEAKNESSES :
I. The time allocated was too short and more time is crucial for such programme
to make it even better in future.
II. The discussion during the sharing session should be focused on the specific
matters that benefits the participants.
