EVENT: Action Song Competition

A very good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
I would like to invite all the guest and contestants to be seated as the action
song competition will begin shortly. Kindly turn your cellphones into the silent
mode. (PAUSE)
2. Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and a very good afternoon to
all of you.
Your excellencies, Datin Azian Bt Mohd Shaharbi, Hadmistress of Sekolah
Kebangsaan Perempuan Methodist, ,
Representative from the North Kinta Education District Office, other
distinguished guests, panel of judges, ladies and gentlemen. (PAUSE)
3. We are here today for the Action Song Competition, Co-Academic Carnival,
Year 2013.
As the host for this event, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for
your absence and
we are pleased to welcome all of you. (PAUSE)
4. Please allow me to introduce the participating schools. The schools are,
Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Merah, Sekolah Kebangsaan Buntong and Sekolah
Kebangsaan Perempuan Methodist. (PAUSE)
5. Ladies and gentlemen,
Before we start our program for today, I would like to invite the honourable
judges and the time keeper to take their seats. (PAUSE)

6. The Action Song competition today will be adjudicated by a panel of esteemed

judges. They are led by Mr. Yeap Kah Soon, from Sekolah Kebangsaan Raja
 Dihilir Ikram. The next person beside him is Madam Subathrah a/p
Subramaniam, from Sekolah Kebangsan Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang, as the
second judge. And the next person to her is Madam Sharifah Junita Bt. Syed
Amir, from Sekolah Kebangsaan Manjoi (1) as the third judge.
Please be informed that all the judges decisions are final and marks will not be
disclosed.
The timekeeper for this competition is Miss Fazeni Bt. Ghazalli and
the note taker for this event is Madam Nurin Azhani Bt. Azizan. Both of them
are from Sekolah Kebangsaan Perempuan Methodist. (PAUSE)
7. Before we proceed with the event, I would like to remind to all of the
contestants that on stage presentation is five to eight minutes. Marks will be
deducted thereafter.
We would really appreciate if the audience could refrain from making noise as
it would affect the judges ability to listen to the performances and assess them.

9. Now is the time that we all have been waiting for.
Without further ado, let us begin with the first performance from Group
Number 1. Give a big applause to them.
10. Thank you very much for the lovely performance.
11. Next, please welcome, the second group of students from Group 2 to perform
on the stage.
Audience. please give a big clap to them.

12. Thank you very much for the energetic and adorable performance.
13. Now.
We have come to the final group for today's competition. Please welcome the
participants from Group 3 to perform the action song. Please give them a huge
applause. (PAUSE)
14. Thank you very much for the entertaining performance.
15. We are now taking a short break to give time to our honourable judges to
calculate the marks.
16. For your information, the results will be announced during the closing
ceremony. So, please... stay tune and keep calm.
17. As the saying goes, "to every beginning, there is an ending." And now, the
action song competition for has come to its end.
18. As the host of this event, we would like to thank all adjudicators, participants
accompanying teachers and the committee members for contributing to the
success of this event. We would like to apologize for any difficulties and
inconvenience caused throughout this competition.
19. Once again, thank you everyone for gracing our event with your presence and
we really appreciate it.
