2011 is Almost Here Rogue Fans!!!
T he New Year is right around the corner. Good
Times are just ahead as the Holiday season
approaches. I am looking forwad to Rogue
RollerGirls annual Halloween Party and White
Elephant party. Unfortunatly, I am not looking
forward to the bouting season ending in November.
That’s right, everyone, Rogue’s season is about to
end for the 2010 year, so please do not miss Rogue
RollerGirls home bouts: September 18th, 2010 and
October 9th, 2010
Over the last six months we have retained many of
our newer skaters so the October 9th bout,
HomeWreckers vs. Ritzy Rollers should keep the
audience on the edge of their seats. Trainers have
been working overtime preparing
the team for this last home
interleague bout of the season.
We have been working on pack
awareness, stalling (RED &
GREEN), peripheral vision within the pack
communication, and team cohesion. Some of the

Just a usual day in the life of a ROGUE RollerGirl
consists of many opportunities to interact with the
community. Let’s take a look at a few things the
pack has been doing over the last couple of
months. July 17th ROGUE RollerGirls broke in
the new Cleland outdoor Skating Rink. Around 10
AM, ROGUE Rollergirls presented a mini bouting
experience for Grand Opening Audience.
Spectators enjoyed refreshments and music. It was
a hot, perspiration dripping in the eyes kind of day
for the players but the Grand Opening began well.

Blue Ridge Roller Girls and the TXRG Hell Marys
hosted a Roller Derby Boot Camp, Rollergirl Re-
Evolution, on July 31, 2010 in Hendersonville,
NC! Only 75 derby skaters were allowed to sign
up. Multiple players from Rogue RollerGirl team
of different skill levels attended the Roller Derby
Boot Camp. Unfortunately, this weekend was one
of the last weekends to share in up close roller
derby misfit action. One of ROGUE RollerGirls

Vintage Rogue RollerGirl Calendar

W e have teamed up with Jones Photography,

Wagenhaus, Chieftexx, and other local
businesses to create an awesome retro inspired
ROGUE RollerGirls that participated in the
calendar creation worked hard getting beautiful.
The nice people that volunteered their time and
calendar for the upcoming 2011 year. The skill to do makeup and photography (to
calendars will cost $15 and can be purchased by say the least) did an awesome job making
