Deodorant Advert Proposal

Message
My advert will have a positive message which will encourage the target audience to
purchase the product. I want to aim my product at an active, unisex audience between the
ages of 16-25. To achieve this, I will show how my product caters to an active lifestyle and
the positive effects that using the deodorant will create. For example, I could show how the
deodorant remains effective in an active persons life. Additionally, I will feature both male
and female actors to clarify that my product is to be used by members of both genders.

Synopsis of Advertisement
The advert will begin with a young man lying asleep in bed. This is quickly followed by his
alarm activating. The boy then jumps out of bed and grabs his deodorant. There is then a
shot of him applying the deodorant. The shot then cuts to the same boy running on a
running track. The boy then lifts his arms to reveal the lack of sweat underneath. The scene
changes once again to the boy sat in a lesson. He raises his arm to answer a question
revealing his lack of sweat. The shot cuts once again to the boy returning to his room, where
he checks his arms once more and smiles. The shot the cuts to a pack shot of the deodorant
with a superimposed slogan.

Synopsis of Advertisement 2
The ad begins with a girl getting out of bed. The shot cuts to a boy in a messy room getting
out of bed. The shot cuts back to the girl who applies Wave deodorant and again to a boy
who applies no deodorant. The shot cuts to the boy and girl sat next to each other in a
classroom. The girl raises her hand to answer a question but the boy does not. The shot cuts
to the girl in sportswear running. She sees the boy (who is sweating) and runs to him,
offering him Wave deodorant. The shot cuts back to the classroom where the boy and girl
both raise their hands. the shot cuts to a pack shot with a superimposed slogan.
