RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
Screenchomp is a whiteboard application/website that you can create drawings, text, and images. It is also a voice recording
application so you can narrate your creation. This will allow students or teachers to share their ideas through video. You can copy
the link and send it through email, social media, or blackboard.
INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING
How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the screencasting you or your
students, and what purpose it will serve.
I could use this resource to create animated lectures that could be sent home with the students via email to create a flipped
learning instruction. If the students were using this application, they could create an animation describing a topic that is given to
them. For example, they could use ScreenChomp to create a drawing to describe how plot works.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Given the information above, how would the technology integration you described, using the selected resource? (On the
Value-Added Rating Scale above)
Explain your rating based on the indicators on the rubric.
I rated ScreenChomp both a 1 and a 2. This is because it is more than likely going to enhance a lesson and increase engagement,
but I feel as though this type of screen-casting integration will be used more by the teacher than the students. I am sure if given
the opportunity, students, will be able to use the application frequently to describe certain concepts that they are learning within
the classroom environment. Overall, I would rate this a 1 and a because it is a little bit of both of those sections.
