We are glad to inform you that the Department of Chemical Engineering, Bangladesh University of
Engineering and Technology (BUET) is organizing the 'Fifth International Conference on
Chemical Engineering 2017' (ICChE 2017) this year. The conference will be held on 20-22
r, 2077 covering four major research areas: Bioengineering, Energy-Environment and
fustainabili.qy, Process Safety and Control, Chemical Engineering Fundamentals and Practices.

,FrqAh)\rce, we expect 140-150 researchers and practitioners from the fields on Chemical and
tro\.d engineering from home and abroad. This includes the participation of luminaries in Bio-

Berkeley, Texas A & M, NUS in Singapore and DTU in Denmark. We are also expecting participation
from India, Japan and other regional countries.

,fl r\As you may be aware BUET Chemical Engineering Department plays a leading role in the country in
ry the fields of Basic Chemical, Fertilizer, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Industrial Pollution, Process Safety
and Control and importantly Energy. The objective of this conference is to provide an interface
between academia and practitioners to deliberate on diverse areas pertaining to chemical engineering
and allied disciplines.
