Problems found in Figure 1-1


One of the problems I found in the document was that the information included in the safety alert
was very densely packed. It made it slightly difficult to read and felt bulky.

Another problem with the figure was that it did not seem to be organized very well. There
seemed to be information being repeated in the safety alert. For example, the alert kept
recommending that the best water temperature for residential use is 120 degrees.

The clarity of the document could be altered. For example, when the document listed the
different types of water heaters, the author could have used bullet points or other techniques to
make the document clearer.

The document could have had the data and information sequenced better. For example, the
document talked about the dangers of high water heat at the beginning and end of the document
immensely. The information about the different types of water heaters separated this. Changing
the sequence of the data to group similar information together would help readers understand the
document better.
