Weekly reflection (week 4)

In this week, it was the second day for observation, where I had all the materials
ready and improved my classroom management, the lesson was about adding one
digit number to two digit numbers, which is was a challenging lesson for me and
for the students as well because the lesson needs to be explained in two periods
because it has many informations and the students cannot understand the lesson in
one period, so most of the time I was explaining the lesson for the students to make
sure of their understanding, despite the difficulty I had during teaching the student
the activities that I did was encouraging and interactive for the students learning
and understanding, so I used an online game where they will add the numbers as a
warmup for the lesson, and I used the dice idea for the activity to make it more
visual and fun for the students instead of just explaining the lesson orally. And
according to my behavior management, it was a big improvement in how I
managed the class while teaching the students.

This week was one of the best weeks I had, because of the improvement I did in
my behavior management and how I used the activities in this lesson although it
needs to be more creative for the students age. Also the math talk was good
between me and the students, I had a good connection between the student in the
way of explaining the lesson in a language they can understand it.
