    MEMORANDUM

    TO: Helga Honcho

    FROM: Megan Loftus

    DATE: March 7, 2017

    SUBJECT: Attendance at BCA Internal Communications Conference

    The Business Communication Association is holding an Internal Communications conference that I wish
    to attend. This conference focuses on best practices, and enhancing employee efficiency through
    improved internal communication. As the administrative supervisor I believe that this would be an
    excellent opportunity to strengthen operations at Totally Great Industries.

    The two day conference runs from April 15-16 in Kitchener, ON. Cost of registration is $500 and includes
    lunch on both days. Transportation, hotel and other meals will cost an extra $600. Registration is
    reduced by 10% if done by March 15, this would save the company $50.

    This would be a great opportunity to learn from the two well-known experts in the field of
    communications, Betsy Incredible and Tony Wonderful. My attendance at this conference would
    provide Totally Great Industries an improvement in communications that could be demonstrated to all
    employees.

    Please let me know your decision by March 14, as I would like to register with the promotional rate
    discount. This is a chance for Totally Great Industries to excel in communications and enhance employee
    efficiency.
