Mission statement:

With the power of the Dust Busters team, we will bring to life the Presto 14.4 Volts Vacuum. We will provide

iFixit customers with superior guidance, high quality photos, and instructions that are simplistic to understand on

how to fix the Presto vacuum in the comfort of their own home while also reducing the amount of electronic

waste in our environment.

Performance Expectations:

Submitted work must be final draft quality by specified deadline (Wolfe 36).

In reference Markels practical writing strategies on page 41, team members must be respectful, give/take

criticism constructively, create a supportive space

Team members must show up to every meeting in a timely matter

iFixit replacement manuals must be written with simplistic dialect for an audience with a high school

education level

Communication Expectations:

Alert team members when missing class

Team meetings held every other Monday (or as seen necessary) before class at 8am in a library study

room as booked by Hannah (PM will send reminder texts before meetings/deadlines)

Communicate through group text message and respond to texts/emails within 12 hours
Team member must be consulted after a missed meeting and revisions may be made (time spent on

previous topic will be limited to 10 min. to remain on schedule)

Conflict Resolution: (Wolfe 55)

Address Project manager about potential issue

Project manager will approach situation by consulting other person, focusing on persons behavior and

actions, not personality, listening carefully, and prioritizing areas of conflict

Project manager will develop a plan to work on each conflict and bring group members together to build

on each others successes

If conflict cannot be resolved, issue will be brought to instructors attention

Firing Clause:

Three Strike Policies

Missing more than 1 meeting will result in a strike

Failing to meet deadline without a reasonable cause will result in a strike

Continuous unsatisfactory work turned in will result in a strike

editing manager will alert team member)

After 3 strikes, group members will approach instructor about firing clause
