VIDEO ACTIVITY: IN THE REAL WORD

I. Create a video on your own taking these steps into consideration:

1. Choose a public settng for recording your video.

2. The video should last around 4 minutes.
3. Talk about 4 people.
4. While recording: (PRACTICE IN ADVANCE- DO NOT READ!)
a. Say your name and where you are at the moment of recording.
b. Say where the people are * and what they are wearing and doing.
c. Say good bye.
*If you know the people, you can use their names. Use prepositons of
place.

II. Aspects to be evaluated on the video. (check page 94)

SPEAKING TEST (20P)

1. Use of the grammar structures required: PRESENT CONTINUOUS (UNIT 9)-5P

2. Use of connectors: and, but, because, also, but or too. -5P
3. Use of varied vocabulary: verbs and prepositons of place, extra comments. -5P
4. Clear vocalizaton of what you say : verbs , prepositions of place, etc.-5P

ACTIVITY POINTS (20P)

1. Coherence between the setting and what you say (5p)

2. Enthusiam and interest (5p)
3. Answer 2 questions about the video on the presentation day (10p)

III. Video presentation:

1. On JULY 10TH.
