I am __________________________of Mindanao state university Iligan

Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT, Iligan City, 9200).

I am a scholar of Tulong Dunong Program of CHED (for SUCs) here.

I want to ask if our scholarship is controlled by politicians? Is Government budget

for self improvements of our politicians?

I want to learn if is this normal or not.

This is the situation.

There are a lot of activities of this so called Iligan based organization BFF Youth
of Cong. Siao.

Although the activities are also nice, like Mangrove planting, scheduled mass
feeding programs, sports fests, trainings and workshops (these are very organized,
we are well fed and etc.)
WE ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THOSE ACTIVITIES OF THIS BFF YOUTH
TO RETAIN OUR SCHOLARSHIPS NEXT SEM. We are always threatened that
if we will not attend the activities, we might not be qualified for the renewal of our
scholarships next sem.

I believe grades and social status is the basis of scholarships, or maybe I

dont know that these things are normal, so please just enlighten me.

And last day, I am really triggered by the message of our Congressmans people
that I will copy and paste here.
Goodevening Scholars we would like to inform everyone that this coming November 6, 2017 there
will be a Registration sa Comelec para sa batan.on nga wala pa narehistro, gi awing gyud namo ang
tanan scholars nga wala pa na rehistro, ug dapat mo transfer nga mag pa transfer ngyud mo. Pls send
your name and contact no. and kung asa mo nga barangay nag puyo, importante kaau ni kay mao ni ang
requirements sa renewal sa scholarship nnu. Plse spread this info. Sa officer ani mga batch pls ikaw
ang contact person namo sa update sa numbers of students nga dapat nato e pa rehistro. And katong
pung na register na pls send us your precint no. and inuha complete name and baranggay. Thank you

Whats the purpose? For the assurance of our votes should be given to our
congressman? Where is our freedom? Tho not really stated, I can feel that is the
purpose (so maybe I am wrong).
Also, when there are activities, we are always quoted as SCHOLARS KAYO NI
SIAO, am I?

I really hate feeling as SLAVE of this scholarship.

Please do verify, and make actions for this if your office can read this.
