INTRODUCTION
• The ayurvedic centre is a place of retreat for anyone seeking a genuine
holistic experience for the well being of body and mind. With a focus on
authentic ayurveda combined with today’s possibilities of medical sciences,
the medical centre offers an alternativeto western medicine

NEED
• Ayurveda is one of the oldest forms of indian medicine. The field of
ayurveda just dosent include a medical system but it is well known for
curing many of anatomical disorders and for its stress releiving massages. It
not just being a field of medicine also represents the culture of india. In the
modern world where massage centres and spas have become a part of
lifestyle, a well sophisticated ayurvedic centre would attract a lot of
medical tourist as well as people from all walks of life who would love to
relieve their stress in holidays.

AIMS & OBJECTIVE

• Globalization of traditional ayurvedic knowledge of kerala to the world.


• Provide a stress relieving environment for the ayurvedic centre through
varieties of facilities and functions.
• Study about the materials and technology regarding the sustainability in
design.
• to uplift ayurveda so that future generation will also be aware of the
traditional treatment methods.
METHODOLOGY
The following methodologies will be adopted in two phases to come up with the
final design.

RESEARCH PHASE
• Literature Review- athreya ayurvedic centre,kottayam
• Case study- ayur –mana,trivandrum,maat india medical centre allapey

DESIGN PHASE
 Site selection and analysis-
 Program formulation and zoning-
 Conceptual design
 Design development
 Analysis and evaluation of output design
 Preparation of architectural drawings, 3D views, model, report for final
presentation.

SCOPE OF WORK

• They intend to go to the history so that they can enjoy the environment
and freshness there and heal themselves.
• The ayurvedic centre will be a place to gain knowledge regarding the
ayurveda.
• No mental stress of being treated as a patient.
LIMITATIONS
• The project is limitted to the tradition of the south india.
• The people who knows this methods is less
• Fast releif is not possible .
