MATHEMATICS ASSISTANCE SAT/ACT PREP

BEST Academy offers up to ninety minutes of SAT/ACT ASSISTANCE AND
free mathematics assistance to middle and PREPARATION
high school students in the specific subject
B.E.S.T. Academy offer three hours of free
areas of: SAT/ACT preparation for high school juniors
Basic Mathematics and seniors.

Algebra I The mathematics area is addressed for ninety

minutes and the communications area is

READING/LANGUAGE ARTS ASSISTANCE

BEST Academy offers up to ninety minutes of ASSISTANCE WITH:

free reading/ language arts assistance and READING/LANGUAGE ARTS &
experiences to middle and high school
MATHEMATICS
students.
Specific focus areas include: BEST Academy offers three hours of
Structural Analysis - Comprehension assistance for elementary students in
Vocabulary building – Speaking - Responses third, fourth, and fifth grades. The focus
Reading with Fluency and Purpose of assistance is in reading, writing, and
mathematics.
JOURNEY INTO MANHOOD (JIM) - MALE SESSIONS
Two times during the twenty week program, middle and high school males participate in a ninety minute
workshop type class to help them; become better citizens, make good choices, and become better peer
role models. (October 15, 2016 and February 18, 2017)

(PURITY) - FEMALE SESSIONS

Two times during the twenty week program, middle and high school females participate in a ninety
minute workshop type class to help them become better citizens, make good choices, and become
better peer role models. (October 15, 2016 and February 18, 2017)

Session I ~ Grades 11 – 12: August 27 – October 29, 2016
Grades 3 – 10: September 10 – November 12, 2016
Session II ~ Grades 3 – 12: January 7 – March 11, 2017
