The subject of this SCR are steel supports for DI pipes in Irrigation Water tank.
The brackets are classified prior to pipe diameter and are as follows:
Bracket for the 150 mm pipe marked as 150-1 (concrete support bracket)
Bracket for the 700 mm pipe marked as 700-1 (cantilever bracket)
Bracket for the 700 mm pipe marked as 700-2 (hanging bracket)
Bracket for the 700 mm pipe marked as 700-3 (concrete support bracket)
Bracket for the 400 mm pipe marked as 400-1 (cantilever bracket)
Bracket for the 400 mm pipe marked as 400-2 (concrete support bracket)
Bracket for the 600 mm pipe marked as 600-1 (concrete support bracket)

The worst case is taken in to consideration assuming loads, support distances, the height
of the brackets (seismic load), the total numer of supports…etc.

In these calculations the cantilever and the hanging bracket for 700 mm are taken as worst
cases and the same are checked / designed and identified as structuraly satisfactory.The load
on other supports are less then the ones taken for 700 mm dia pipe, so designed details for
700 mm dia pipe are applicable for others diameters.
