Final Remarks

In this subject which is Ecology, the first day we met by Sir Boniel, I feel nervous
because I know that on how the way he instructs to the students. This middle year term,
there is an only short period of classes. However, even if it has limited time, I have
learned a lot and I gained more knowledge about Ecology.
As expected, he always gives recitation and plus points for those who got the
correct answer during the discussion. In that way, we are motivated to raise our hands
and try to answer. But it is not easy to defend your answer, the more points he gives,
the more difficult of questions will follow. If you say the words unfamiliar, he will ask you
back what does it mean. It is because he really wants to understand the topic and he
wants us to know that we defend the answers accurately.
I have learned the lessons that he discussed because he always tries to keep the
lessons simple and easy to understand. He also unlocks the terms that are unfamiliar to
make it clear. After the topic discussed, he provides us handouts to do an advance
reading for the next topic. Right after the discussion, we do an activity or take home
activity that will be passed the next day.
During the examination, some of the questions in the long quiz will come out and
it serves as our reviewer. If we’re going to check our exam we need to defend the
correct answers and why are the other choices is not the correct answer regarding on
the questions. In this way, we can learn our mistakes.
All of the knowledge that he shares with us was retain in our minds. Thankyou Sir
for being our instructor for sharing your knowledge and being considerate to us.
