To whom it may concern,

It is a pleasure for me to write this letter of reference for Ms. Wendy Evans in her position as a
Grade 2 classroom teacher at Al Bayan Bilingual School in Kuwait, since August 2015.

Wendy is a passionate educator, who always considers the learning needs of the children in her
classes. She carefully plans, implements, and assesses children’s learning using pedagogically
sound practices. Wendy shares her successful practices with the Grade 2 teaching team,
including both English and Arabic colleagues.

Wendy is an open, honest, thoughtful and talented person. Her patience, positive attitude, and
professionalism create a collegial teaching and learning environment for her children and
colleagues. Wendy’s strength is her organizational skills and use of technology. She shares
many resources she has created through the Starboard for language, mathematics, and science
lessons with her colleagues. She has also organized and laid out an Excel yearly calendar that
has been a great help to the grade 2 team.

Wendy is consistent with building a collaborative community of learners within her classroom.
Upon visiting her classroom I have witnessed engaged, interested and involved students.
Wendy delivers well thought out lessons that cater to the needs of her students. She has great
classroom management skills, which involves being firm, but fair.

Within the professional learning community of Grade 2 teachers, Wendy readily offers her ideas,
which are received enthusiastically by her team members. I believe that she has untapped
leadership potential; she is someone who will be able to model and share expected best
practices in a very effective manner.

Should you have any further questions regarding Ms. Wendy’s teaching qualities, you may

Kind regards,
